Coldstream Kids was formed in memory of Guardsman Anthony Wakefield and Sgt Christan Hickey of the 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards who were both tragically killed whilst serving in Iraq in 2000

Coldstream Kids will support children of both serving and former Coldstreamers who may have become victims of misfortune or unforeseen circumstances.

Coldstream Kids will encourage all former and serving soldiers of the Coldstream Guards to actively participate in fundraising activities and sponsored challenge events and it is hoped this will provide an opportunity for all Coldstreamers to work together towards a common bond.

The Hadrian's Wall Challenge: September 2007

In September 2007 a twenty five man team of former & serving soldiers of the Coldstream Guards took part in the Hadrian's Wall Sponsored Challenge. The participants ll walked the length of Hadrian's Wall, over 80 miles. For a detailed history of Hadrian's Wall, please go to www.hadrianswall.co.uk.

The Great Glen Way Sponsored Challenge
14th to the 19th September 2009
The Great Glen Way runs from Fort William (also the northern terminus of the West Highland Way) on the shore of Loch Linnhe north-eastwards, following the Great Glen, to Inverness.
The Great Glen Way is 73 miles/117km in length
